About Swiger Coil

Swiger^TM Coil Systems was founded in 1975 to provide armature coils, stator coils, and field service coils for the motor repair industry. We have grown to provide production quantities of OEM coils, repair or manufacture Edge-wound coils and large synchronous coils. We repair traction motors and manufacture traction motors for both AC and DC and traction auxiliary motors.

Located in Cleveland, Ohio, we have more than 175,000 square feet of manufacturing space and almost 200 employees. We have modernized our processes, streamlined workflow, reduced cycle time and invested $3.5 million in advanced manufacturing equipment.

March 2008 - Cleveland Blizzard

The second weekend of March brought an excess of snow (almost 20 inches) to Cleveland. Swiger is proud to have stayed open and shipped through the inclement weather.
